Covering my cars

We have 3 cars and a 2 car garage.  So I was thinking:  Wouldn’t it be cool to have a bigger garage?  Yeah, probably, but we don’t have anywhere to expand our current garage out.  So what do you do?  I can’t build off to the side of the garage (neighbor’s house) and I can’t build off to the other side (our deck).  The back yard isn’t deep enough and we don’t have any access from the other street…  The only way I can expand my covered parking (and if you live in Michigan with me, you know how important covered parking is) is to consider a carport.  Check these things out!  They are really awesome and some of them don’t even look like carports.  My friend’s family has a roof over the beginning part of their driveway right attached to their garage.  I don’t see why we can’t do it?  There’s nothing I hate more than scraping ice and snow off my windshield OR standing at the car door in the pouring rain trying to unlock it.  I think one of these things would be cool!
